Rahm Emanuel and His Brothers, The Jewish Kennedys?

Family is number one priority for my husband, Saeed and me. No question. That's why I admire high profile people who raise great kids. Being a great mom is not an easy task where ever you land in the social pecking order, and it's inspiring to read stories of families like the Emanuel's.

Rahm is currently Chief of Staff for the Obama administration; Ezekiel is an oncologist and respected health care advisor; and Ari is CEO of William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.

The Daily Beast profiled the family, and it's astonishing to read their accomplishments. And it points to the possibilities that arise when family is at the top of a parent's list.

Behind the high-profile Emanuel brothers is their mom, Marsha. She nurtured their talents from the very beginning: driving Rahm back and forth to ballet classes, and buying cow parts for dissection when Ezekiel showed an interest in anatomy.

And the boys married women who place equal value on their kids. Read the article to find out about the talented third generation of Emmanuels.

If you're a mom or dad and haven't created a New Year's resolution yet, consider making it one regarding your role as parent. Decide to invest time in what will be the most fulfilling role you'll ever play.
